We are pleased to announce that Cross Product Atmospheric’s founder, D.C. Stolz, has recently received the Certified Consulting Meteorologist Designation from the American Meteorological Society. The AMS CCM Board had this to say of the examination:
“I am pleased to inform you that the [AMS’s] Commission on Professional Affairs, upon recommendation of the Board of Certified Consulting Meteorologists, has approved your application for certification. Your Certified Consulting Meteorologist number is 761…The Board commented you were well prepared for the oral exam…and was very impressed with your excellent communication skills.”
Since the National Council of Industrial Meteorologists (NCIM) and the Association of Certified Meteorologists (ACM) were founded back in 1968, more than 750 people have been certified as CCM’s, but there are less than 50 active practicing CCM’s in the United States today.
